Happy Fish


The winter of 2009 was rough, but the koi and gold fish managed to make it through unscathed.

The Spitting Turtle



Here's the new addition to the pond. We went to the trouble of buying a pump for the turtle, but later we discovered that there was enough pressure in the water fall to service the turtle. So we have a nice decoration without having to use any extra electricity.

Late March Snow


Just when you thought we hand winter licked, it decides to snow. Well, at least the snow didn't last for long. We started the waterfall a few weeks ago so we ended up with a nice shot of the pond with running water.

After The Snow Storm--2009



Here's a shot of the pond with the new heater. One might think that the water level is low, but the hight of the snow gives the illusion of shallow water.
